Congress party blew the trumpet for MCD by-election, made this special plan for victory

Delhi MCD By Elections: The Congress party has started preparations for the MCD by-elections in Delhi. Under the leadership of State Congress Committee President Devendra Yadav, monthly meetings were organized in all 258 Block Congress Committees of Delhi to strengthen the organization. 

After the increase in the vote percentage of Congress in the assembly elections, the workers have got hope for the future and they are moving forward with new enthusiasm. Workers registered their presence in large numbers in these block meetings. The presidents of 258 block congress committees, including the block congress committees constituted according to 250 municipal wards in all 14 districts of Delhi and 8 blocks in New Delhi assembly and Delhi Cantt, organised meetings in their respective areas. 

In these meetings, district presidents, district officers, block officers, former MLAs, corporation councillors, former corporation councillors, front organisations like Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, Seva Dal and NSUI including chairmen and officers of all cells and departments participated.

'We have to work unitedly'
Congress state president Devendra Yadav said that forming a team of workers up to the booth level should be the first priority of the block presidents, for which everyone will have to work unitedly. He said, "The increase in vote percentage can give us solace, but we will have to work on a winning strategy." 

Formation of Co-ordination Committee
Yadav further said, "For the upcoming corporation by-elections, Delhi Congress has formed a coordination committee in 12 wards, so that preparations for the corporation elections can be started from now itself. Along with this, ward in-charges have also been appointed for these 12 wards, who have skills in corporation and organization as well as political experience."

'Block presidents should establish coordination'
He appealed to all the district and block presidents to strengthen the organization and work in coordination with the workers. Devendra Yadav said that our unity will become our strength. The district and block presidents and officials should cooperate with the in-charges appointed in the wards where elections are to be held, so that Congress can work smoothly in the ward elections.
