Congress is going to write its own death certificate, now there is no chance of survival

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the Congress has deviated from its roots, lost its values and is facing an existential crisis and is heading towards writing its own death certificate.

CM Yogi Adityanath said in an interview to news agency PTI that given the path Congress has adopted, there is no possibility of it growing or flourishing in the country and people are no longer supporting it.

The Chief Minister said, 'The path on which the Congress has gone, I don't think there is any possibility left for it to flourish or grow further. When someone strays from his origin, when someone strays from his values, then he faces an existential crisis, and the biggest example of this is in front of you (in the form of) Congress.' He said that the Congress has moved towards writing its own death certificate.

During the country's freedom struggle, the people of the country considered Congress as the 'soul of India' and in independent India, they started playing (with the sentiments of the people).

When asked who is responsible for the current situation of the Congress, the UP Chief Minister said, 'Rahul Gandhi is also (responsible) (for this situation of the Congress) and other people of the Congress are also (responsible), who decide the policies of the Congress and set the agenda of the Congress.'

Yogi alleged that they made the first amendment in the Constitution made by Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar to 'stifle the media'.

He said, 'Then they did it by forcefully introducing Article 370 in Kashmir. Then they continued to do such things in the country and by 1976, Mrs. Indira Gandhi had strangled the Constitution. Today they are continuously moving in the same direction.'

He said, 'It (Congress) has given more problems to the country instead of solving the issues.' The Chief Minister reminded how the problem of Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya was solved as soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power.

He said, 'This could have been done in 1950, could have been done in 1952. It could have been done in subsequent governments as well, because they had no concern for India's faith. The evil practice of triple talaq could have been banned earlier as well, but Modi ji did it. Article 370 could have been abolished earlier as well, but Modi ji did it as well.'
