Chaitra Navratri 2024 Ghatsthapna Muhurat: Chaitra Navratri is starting on 9th April i.e. today and will end on 17th April, the day of Ram Navami. This time there are 9 full days of Navratri. During Navratri, new forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped and worshipped. With Chaitra Navratri, the new year also begins. 

This time Maa Durga is coming riding on a horse because Navratri is starting from Tuesday i.e. today. According to astrologers, the arrival of Maa Durga riding on a horse is not considered auspicious at all, rather, it is considered a sign of natural disaster and inauspicious things. 

Auspicious time for Kalashsthapna of Chaitra Navratri (Chaitra Navratri 2024 Kalashsthapna shubh muhurat)

According to the Hindu calendar, Chaitra Navratri starts from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. The auspicious time of Ghatasthapana will be from 6.11 am to 10.23 am today  . If you are not able to do Ghatasthapana in this Muhurta, then you can also do Ghatasthapana in Abhijeet Muhurta. Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 11:57 am today till 12:48 pm today.

Chaitra Navratri 2024 Shubh Yog

Besides, some auspicious yogas are also going to be created for the worship of Maa Durga. In which Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Amrit Siddhi Yoga will be created.

Method of Kalashsthapna of Chaitra Navratri (Chaitra Navratri Kalashsthapna Vidhi)

Ghat means earthen pot. It is established on the first day of Navratri according to the auspicious time. Ghat should be installed in the northeast corner of the house. First, put some soil in the pot and then add barley. Then worship it. Clean the place where the ghat is to be established and purify it by sprinkling Ganga water there once. After that spread a red cloth on a stool. 

Then install the picture or idol of Maa Durga. Now fill water in a copper urn and tie a red molly on its top. Put coin, Akshat, betel nut, pair of cloves, and Durva grass in that Kalash. Now place mango leaves on the Kalash and wrap the coconut with a red cloth. Keep fruits, sweets, and prasad around the Kalash. Then after completing the Kalash installation, worship the Mother Goddess.

During Navratri, worship both morning and evening for the entire nine days. Chant the mantra both times and also perform aarti. It would be best to recite Durga Saptashati during Navratri. Keep reciting it regularly. Offer different Prasad on different days. Or offer two cloves daily.

Maintain purity in your home during Chaitra Navratri. Both should worship Vela Devi. If you keep fast then consume only water and fruits. Consumption of garlic, onion or meat, and fish is prohibited in the house. People observing fast should not wear black colored clothes at all. Never leave the place near the post where the Kalash and Akhand Jyoti are lit, and deserted.
