A case of molestation of a 6-year-old girl has come to light in Modern School, Sector 12 of Police Station Sector 24 area in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. According to the complaint given by the girl's family, on 3 September 2024, a laborer working in the school did this heinous act with the girl. The girl informed her class teacher Sarita Suneja and headmistress Preeti Shukla about the incident, but despite this the matter was hidden.

During the police investigation, it was found that the class teacher, head mistress, school supervisor Basant Pandey and contractor Mukesh Kumar deliberately tried to suppress the incident. The police have arrested all the accused and sent them to judicial custody.

In connection with this incident, a case has been registered in Sector 24 police station under crime number 390/2024 section 74/263 BNS and 7/8 POCSO Act. The police has started a thorough investigation of the case and the search for other accused involved in this crime is on.

Police have said that the remaining accused will also be arrested soon and strict legal action will be taken.
