Calgary. A truck driver of Indian origin hit a bus in Calgary, Canada. After which he was ordered to be deported to India. The name of the truck driver is said to be Jaskirat Singh Sidhu.

According to reports, the driver broke the traffic signal and collided with the bus of Humboldt Broncos Junior Hockey Team coming in the way. It is said that 16 members sitting in the bus died in this horrific collision, while 13 were injured.

Truck driver sentenced to 8 years in prison

After which Sidhu's lawyer Michael Green said, Sidhu is from India and has permanent resident status in Canada. Sidhu's lawyer further put forward his point and said that there are still many other legal procedures left and the deportation process can take months or years.

The accused's lawyer demanded the cancellation of the verdict

Sidhu's lawyer says, it was already decided that Sidhu was to be deported, they were just waiting for Sidhu to commit some serious crime. Michael Green had requested the agency to cancel this decision and order a proper investigation.
