According to the information, these aircraft can collect about 1600 gallons of water at a time, which is much more than air tankers. While air tankers repeatedly land and fill water, on the contrary, super scoopers float on the surface of the nearest water body, fill water and then start extinguishing the fire again.

Super Scooper works in a different way

The way Super Scooper works is quite different. The wingspan of these planes is about 93 feet and their length is 65 feet. These planes have a technology with the help of which they mix foam in water and spray it on the fire, which proves to be very effective in extinguishing the fire.

These planes fly at a speed of about 160 km per hour on the surface of water and during this time water is filled in it. That is, these planes do not need to land to fill water. It takes a total of 12 seconds to fill the water tank in these planes. Once filled with water, these planes can fly to the affected area at a speed of 350 km per hour. Water can be sprayed from these planes using four doors at a time.
