Rajasthan Bypolls 2024: Voting has been done on all the seven seats of Rajasthan where by-elections are being held. The highest voting was recorded in Khinvsar and the lowest voting was recorded in Dausa assembly seat. Different estimates are being made about this. 

Voting started slowly in the morning on seven assembly seats of Rajasthan. However, voting picked up pace in the afternoon, the effect of which was visible till evening. The highest voting took place in Khinvsar assembly seat of Nagaur district. Whereas, the lowest voting took place in Dausa assembly seat. The prestige of two big leaders is at stake on both these seats. 

While Kanika, wife of RLP supremo Hanuman Beniwal, is contesting from Khinvsar in Nagaur, Jagmohan Meena, younger brother of cabinet minister Kirori Lal Meena, is contesting from Dausa. Voting continued till 6 pm on Wednesday (November 13), in which 69 candidates are in the fray. According to the information of the Election Commission, a total of 64.82 percent voting took place on all the seven seats. Knowing this, different estimates are being made.

How much voting took place where?
66.14 percent voting took place in Jhunjhunu assembly seat, 75.27 percent in Ramgarh assembly seat, 62.3 percent in Dausa assembly seat, 65.1 percent in Deoli Uniara assembly seat, 75.66 percent in Khinvsar assembly seat, 67.68 percent in Salumbhar assembly seat, 71.75 percent in Chaurasi assembly seat. Voting has been done on these seats. Voting percentage has been released after 6 pm.

Tension was seen in Deoli and Dausa
during the election on Deoli Uniara assembly seat where independent candidate Naresh Meena slapped the RAS officer on the cheek. After that there was a lot of uproar. At the same time, there was a situation of uproar in Dausa too. Peace prevailed on the rest of the seats. Last time there was a direct fight between BJP and Congress on these seats. In this election, candidates changed on some seats but the challenge remained the same.
