On the instructions of the government, a campaign was launched on Sunday to remove encroachments on the roads of the city area from Inter College to Ambedkar Tiraha under the supervision of Executive Officer of Nagar Panchayat Bansdih Sandeep Singh and Inspector in-charge Sanjay Singh. This created panic among the shopkeepers. Shopkeepers who kept their goods on the roads started collecting their goods.

The team removed the goods of all the shopkeepers who had illegally encroached the drain of Bansdih Inter College. The kiosks, tin sheds etc. placed illegally on both sides of the road near the tehsil were also demolished. The shopkeepers who had encroached the drain by placing fans, coolers and electronic goods on the other side of the road were also removed.

Action taken on the instructions of the government

Executive Officer Sandeep Singh said that the encroachment has been removed in compliance with the government's instructions. Two days ago, publicity was also done for this, but the shopkeepers did not remove the encroachment themselves, after which the Nagar Panchayat administration had to remove the encroachment.

A fine will also be imposed for setting up shops at the concerned place again. Common people are facing problems due to encroachment. This campaign will continue further. Outpost in-charge Ranjit Vishwakarma, SI Sagar Kumar Rangu etc. were present.

Encroachment on the National Highway will be removed in the city today

The encroachment removal campaign, being carried out with the cooperation of the Municipal Administration and the District Administration, will run on the National Highway today. The Municipal Corporation's bulldozer will roar against encroachment between Chittu Pandey Square and Kadam Square. Regarding this, EO Subhash Kumar has warned and advised to remove the encroachment yourself. He said that while demolishing the permanent structures on the drains, the Municipal Corporation will also impose a fine on the encroachers.

Anti-encroachment drive launched in Rasra

On the orders of the District Magistrate, under the encroachment removal campaign, the Municipal Administration and the Police removed illegal encroachments from Munshifi Tiraha to Bhagat Singh Square on Sunday as well. Most of the shopkeepers had already removed their goods.

Under the leadership of Executive Officer Dharmaraj, sanitation workers and police personnel warned the shopkeepers along the tracks that they should not encroach under any circumstances. They should do any business on their own land or set up their shops at the place where the municipal administration is making arrangements.
