Former Prime Minister of the country Manmohan Singh passed away last evening on 26 December. Due to age-related diseases, his health suddenly deteriorated and he was admitted to AIIMS hospital. He breathed his last at the age of 92, which has been confirmed by the officials of AIIMS hospital by issuing a statement. 

 

The whole country is mourning the news of Manmohan Singh's death. Bollywood stars are also saddened by the passing of the politician. Celebrities are paying emotional tribute to Manmohan Singh on social media.

 

Sunny Deol paid tribute

Sunny Deol shared a photo of Manmohan Singh on Instagram and wrote, "I am deeply saddened by the demise of Dr. Manmohan Singh. He was a visionary leader who played a key role in shaping India's economic liberalization. His wisdom, honesty and contribution to the development of the nation will always be remembered."

 

Sanjay Dutt became sad

Sanjay Dutt got emotional on the eve and said, "I am deeply saddened by the demise of Dr. Manmohan Singh ji. His contribution to India will never be forgotten."

 

Nimrat Kaur made an emotional post

Dasvi actress Nimrat Kaur wrote, "A scholar-statesman, the architect of India's economic reforms, his unparalleled intellect and humility have left an indelible mark on the fabric of our nation. May Dr Manmohan Singh Ji's soul rest in peace. Satnam Wahe Guru."

 

Disha Patani expressed her pain

Kalki actress Disha Patani said on the demise of the former Prime Minister, “Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was a visionary leader who transformed India's economy. His wisdom and contributions will always be remembered. The country will miss him a lot. My condolences to his family.”

 

Riteish Deshmukh expressed condolences

Riteish Deshmukh wrote, "Today we have lost one of the finest Prime Ministers of India. The man who drove India's economic growth. He was an epitome of dignity and humility. We will always be indebted to his legacy. May his soul rest in peace. Thank you Shri Manmohan Singh Ji."

 

Apart from this, Bollywood stars including Randeep Hooda, Kapil Sharma and Manoj Bajpayee have paid tribute to him.
