
The Muslim Personal Law Board, which is opposing the new Waqf law, has announced a long program of protests. The first round of these protests will begin on April 10 and will continue till July 7. The board has said that the Waqf Bachao campaign will be run from city to village like the Shah Bano case. In this campaign, a big program will be organized from Talkatora Stadium to Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Along with this, dharna and arrest programs will be run in the state capitals.
After Jumme ki namaz, people will register their protest by forming a human chain. The board has also appealed for a blackout at 9 pm on April 30. Now let us tell you in a systematic manner what preparations the board has made to protest against the Waqf law.

What is the Muslim Board going to do for 3 months?
The first phase of "Save Waqf Campaign" against the Waqf Amendment Bill will begin from April 10 and will continue till July 7. A big program will be held on April 22 at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi in the name of "Tahaffuz-e-Auqaf Caravan" i.e. protection of Waqf. A big program will also be organized at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on May 7. Dharna and arrest programs will be organized in the capitals of all the states. After Jumme ki Namaaz, people will register their protest by forming a human chain.
Muslim board appealed to the people
The board has appealed to the people to register their protest by switching off the lights of their homes, factories, offices for half an hour at 9 pm on April 30. A memorandum will be sent to the President through the DM by staging a dharna at every district headquarters. Press conferences will be held in 50 big cities of the country like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad. Meetings will be held with the intellectual community in all these big cities and they will be explained about the disadvantages of the Waqf Bill . The women's wing of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board will also work to make women aware and programs will be organized at different places.
