As per the estimate of the Market Association, lakhs of people are reaching on Saturday and Sunday weekend before Diwali.

From entry point to exit point, policemen in uniform and civil uniform are roaming in the market and keeping an eye on everyone. When ABP News talked to many policemen in Delhi's big market Sarojini Nagar Market, it was found that monitoring has been going on for the past several days.

Along with this, not only are policemen present but CCTV cameras are also being used for monitoring. In the control room of Sarojini Nagar Market, under the special recognition camera system, security alerts about suspicious persons are displayed on the big screen of FRS. If any person is suspected and the suspect is identified, he is immediately questioned. 

Striking trend of clothes and electronic items

There is a lot of crowd at the clothes shops in the markets. Most of the people are coming to buy new clothes. Buying new things on the occasion of Diwali is considered auspicious and this is the reason why people are also showing a lot of inclination towards electronic items. On the auspicious time of Diwali, most of the big companies release Diwali offers, for which people wait for a whole year and this is the reason why people are shopping for electronic items in large numbers. 

Caution is being exercised in Delhi since the bomb blast in Prashant Vihar a few days ago. There is a special alert from the Delhi Police regarding the festival, especially in the crowded areas and every inch of the area is being monitored.
