New Delhi: Many big cities in India have a population of crores. Bengaluru has been recognized as the most congested city in India by the latest Traffic Quality Index (TQI). The Traffic Quality Index (TQI) gives a better report of traffic conditions, showing Bengaluru as a highly congested city, with scores ranging between 800 and 1,000.

The name of this city came after Bengaluru 

According to the report, Mumbai is the second most congested city after Bengaluru with a score of 787, while Delhi and Hyderabad follow with scores of 747 and 718, respectively.

According to reports, Silk Board junction, one of Bengaluru's most congested areas, has seen a reduction in traffic jams after the double-decker flyover opened in July. According to data from Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-East) Kuldeep Kumar Jain, traffic jams at Silk Board have reduced by at least 50 per cent.

What is the condition of the city?

Before the inauguration of the flyover, the area experienced an average of 24 daily congestion alerts, which came down to 15 within a month. Additionally, the average length of traffic queues at the junction reduced from 19 km to 10 km, providing much relief to commuters.
