In a conversation with Digital Commentary, Kabir revealed that he decided to co-parent his children, Pooja Bedi and Siddharth Bedi, and called his marriage an open marriage.

Kabir said that today he regrets breaking up with Pratima. Kabir said that at that time we were together for our children and we chose the option of open marriage so that if anyone wants to have an affair, they can do so.
