This time Holi has brought double happiness for Shreya Chaudhary, actress of the web series Bandish Bandits 2. Recently, Shreya has received the IIFA Award for Best Actress for this series. On the occasion of Holi, we asked her some questions, which she answered very quickly.

What happens special at home on Holi?

My mother is Maharashtrian so we make puran poli (bread made with jaggery and lentil stuffing). My mother and grandmother make it together. On Holi, my mood is good from the morning itself because I know that I will get puran poli and toop (ghee) for breakfast.

Who do you apply color to first in the house on Holi?

I apply it to my parents and grandmother.

Is there any filmy Holi party you feel like going to?

I have not been to any film party, but had heard about Bachchan Sir's Holi party.

Without which songs Holi is incomplete?

Bachchan sahab's Holi songs Rang barse..., Holi khele Raghubeera... are bound to be played. Apart from this, there is also the song Balam Pichkari... I like the song Balam Pichkari so much that I start dancing. While watching this film in the theatre, when this song came on, I started dancing there too. Holi is filmed so beautifully in our films that it seems that we have to celebrate Holi in the same way as Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone or Bachchan sahab have celebrated it in their films.

Did we get new clothes on Holi or did we have to play in old clothes only?

To be honest, I don't understand why people wear new clothes. After playing Holi for five minutes, you won't be able to tell whether it is new or old.

Do you play Holi with water or with gulal?

We have become a little cautious about the environment, so playing Holi with water has reduced. When I was in school, I used to enjoy playing Holi with wet colours. There used to be shower dance in the building where I lived. By the way, Holi with gulaal is also fun.
