Wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat started their political journey on Friday amidst the Haryana assembly elections.

Now the party has declared Bajrang Punia as the working chairman of All India Kisan Congress. Let us tell you that both the wrestlers had joined the party by reaching the Congress headquarters in Delhi.

Before joining the Congress in Delhi on Friday, wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat also met party president Mallikarjun Kharge. After this, Kharge shared a picture with both of them on social media and wrote - Chak de India, Chak de Haryana! Along with this, he wrote that we are proud of you.

Bajrang Punia said that we will thank all the Congress leaders who stood with us in difficult times. BJP IT cell said that their aim was to do politics, we had just sent them (BJP) a letter.

We had sent letters to all the women MPs of BJP, but even then they did not stand with the women players. Congress came there without informing and supported them. Just like we have worked hard in wrestling, we will work hard by staying in the party and take the party forward. We will fight strongly.
