UP News: BJP's membership drive in Meerut turned into a battlefield. There was such an argument over something that the BJP leaders themselves rolled up their sleeves. They started to appear thirsty for each other's blood and started abusing each other and then the enemies attacked each other and kicked and punched each other. They chased each other and beat each other. A video of this incident was also made. The fight was so intense that the senior BJP leaders sweated a lot in trying to free each other and each other's clothes also got torn.
Membership campaign for Kithore assembly was going on in Rajpura block of Meerut. BJP district president Shiv Kumar Rana was sitting in front. Then District Panchayat member's son and BJP leader Dushyant Tomar said something, on which BJP leader Tarun said something. It is being told that some comments were also made on the people who came from other parties. When the two started arguing, BJP district president Shiv Kumar Rana asked both of them to calm down. The matter calmed down a bit, but it was burning inside. Both threatened each other to make peace outside and then came out of the meeting.
There was a bigger crowd than expected in the BJP membership drive. People were praising the BJP's policies and the government's work, when suddenly a loud noise started coming from outside. When everyone ran outside, they saw that BJP leader Dushyant Tomar and BJP leader Tarun were fighting and had grabbed each other's collars, and were kicking and punching each other. The associates of both were also taking care of each other. They were beating each other even after chasing them. Even when people came to intervene, they did not move and kept beating each other.
Violence continued even in front of the BJP district president
Seeing the BJP leaders fighting, District President Shiv Kumar Rana also reached there, but even after his persuasion, no one listened and the fighting continued in front of him. District President Shiv Kumar Rana also had a tough time separating the BJP workers. In front of him, threats were made to make each other suffer. Somehow, both the groups were separated.
The argument turned into a fight
BJP leader Varun alleges that Dushyant Tomar had said that he should be called a Zila Panchayat member and not a Zila Panchayat putra. On this, Tarun said that this is a membership campaign, keep this in mind and on this the argument turned into a fight. Tarun alleges that Dushyant called several boys and then beat us up badly. Tarun has said that he suffered a serious head injury. However, Tarun has currently refused to take any action. On the other hand, BJP leader Dushyant Tomar's clothes were also torn in this fight. Attempts were made to talk to him on the phone several times, but he did not pick up the phone.
The district president said – both were explained
BJP is known for discipline, but what happened outside the BJP membership campaign meeting in Rajpura block can only be called indiscipline. Some worker made a video of the fight and made it viral on social media. Regarding this, BJP district president Shiv Kumar Rana says that there was an altercation between the two over something. I have mediated and both have been made to understand and warned not to do this in future.
