There is special importance of worshipping important trees and plants along with the worship of God. There is a religious belief that by doing this, all the wishes of the person are fulfilled and life remains happy. The tradition of tying Kalava on trees and plants during worship has been going on since ancient times.

1. Basil plant

In Sanatan Dharma, Tulsi plant is considered sacred. According to astrology, tying Kalawa on this plant during worship pleases Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, and a person never has to face a shortage of money in life.

2. Peepal tree

There is a religious belief that by worshipping the Peepal tree in a proper manner, all the sorrows and troubles of a person are removed. Also, all wishes are fulfilled. If you are not getting progress in your career, then worship the Peepal tree and tie a sacred thread. It is believed that by doing this remedy , the person gets wealth and success in career.

3. Banyan Tree

It is believed that Lord Vishnu, the God of Gods Mahadev and Lord Brahma reside in the banyan tree. Therefore, it is customary to worship this tree. On the day of Vat Savitri Vrat, married women worship the tree and tie a sacred thread. It is believed that tying a sacred thread on the tree frees one from the possibility of untimely death and the husband is blessed with a long life.

4. Shami Plant

According to astrology, worshipping the Shami plant makes the position of Saturn in the horoscope auspicious and strong. Also, one gets relief from all kinds of troubles. If you are facing any defect, then tie a Kalawa on the Shami plant during the puja. This pleases Goddess Lakshmi. The effect of Shani Dosh and Rahu Dosh is reduced.
