Hey what is this! It is not Mahatma Gandhi's picture printed on the 500 rupee note but Anupam Kher's picture. Anupam Kher himself had the same reaction when he saw the fake notes going viral. Actually this case is from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where these fake notes have been caught. The actor's picture was printed on these notes instead of Mahatma Gandhi. The 69-year-old actor also shared a video of a report about the recovery of fake notes. On September 24, bullion trader Mehul Thakkar had lodged a complaint at Navrangpura police station that he has been cheated and fake notes have been given to him.
Anup Kher was shocked
Now Anupam Kher has shared this video on his social media handle. While sharing it, he wrote in the caption, 'Lo ji kar lo baat! My photo instead of Gandhiji's photo on the five hundred rupee note? Anything can happen!' After seeing this post of Anupam Kher, many people got confused. Many people thought it to be true, by the way, let us tell you, these notes are completely fake. The bullion trader who was cheated claimed that one of his employees was approached by the suspects for a deal of 2,100 grams of gold, which was worth Rs 1.6 crore. These people gave Rs 1.3 crore in cash and promised to give the remaining Rs 30 lakh the next day. However, after handing over the gold, they disappeared, which made the trader realize that all the notes were fake.
What is the matter?
According to a police officer from Navrangpura police station, Thakkar was first approached by jewellery shop manager Prashant Patel, with whom he has had a long-standing business relationship. The officer said, 'Patel told Thakkar that the buyer cannot transfer the entire amount immediately and will pay Rs 1.3 crore in cash instead.' At present, the police is taking action in this case. Two suspects are being tracked on the basis of CCTV footage. At present, more than the case, the Bollywood twist in it is being discussed. People are not able to stop laughing after seeing Anupam Kher's reaction.
