Varanasi. The taste of the traditional sweets of Banaras will prevail at the wedding of the Ambani family. Anant-Radhika will take the seven vows on Friday and feasts will be organized for three days. The food stalls will sell Lal Peda, Tiranga Barfi, Malai Gilori, Malai Barfi, Banarasi Laddoo as well as Kheer Kadam, Khoya Keshar Barfi, Kaju Sangam, Ajir Poppy Seeds, and Chandra Kala. It will be served to the guests from the country and abroad. The responsibility for this has been given to Ksheer Sagar, a six-decade-old sweet shop in Banaras.
For this, a five-member team led by the CEO of Ksheer Sagar Private Limited, Shikhar Yadav, reached Mumbai on Tuesday itself. On Wednesday, a trial was also conducted by tasting the sweets. On Thursday, a 10-member team left for Mumbai. Semi-finished sweets were also sent to Mumbai by air cargo. They will be given a complete shape on the spot. A contract has been signed with a sweet workshop in Mumbai for the four-day event. Its facilities and resources are being used.
Recently, Nita Ambani, who had come to Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple for worship and to invite Baba and Maa Annapurna, had enquired about the sweets of Ksheer Sagar. She had tasted some sweets and also met the CEO of the establishment.
