Amla Health Benefits: There  is a saying since ancient times that the place of gold among minerals is the same importance of Amla among medicines. Acharyas like Charak and Sushruta have not described any such disease in which the use of Amla is not included in some form or the other. Even Pandit Bhavaprakash, an expert on medieval medicinal plants, has said that Amla is a chemical that not only cures diseases but also reduces the speed of old age.

Amla tree is found all over India, but it is found in abundance in the hilly areas of mid-altitude. The entire tree has medicinal properties, but mainly its fruit is used. There are two types of Amla which are known as Desi and Banarasi. Banarasi Amla is bigger in size and more robust.  Dr. R. Vatsyayan (Ayurvedacharya, Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth) told about the benefits of Amla.

Amla is a great source of vitamin C, it has properties that increase energy, reduce fever and inflammation, increase urine volume, blood clotting and improve overall health of the body. Amla is considered to be an excellent tonic for all systems and functions of the body. Due to these properties, Amla is considered to be a fever reducer, useful in anemia, anti-acidity and ulcer, stops bleeding from the body, increases fertility , is beneficial for hair and eyes and cures all diseases.

Rich in multiple nutrients
