Salman Khan is in the news these days for his upcoming film Sikandar. The actor is making a comeback on the big screen after almost one and a half years through this film. Salman Khan's dialogues in this film have been written by Rajat Arora. The writer believes that he keeps Salman's stardom in mind before writing any story for him.
What will be Salman Khan's next movie?
The writer has shared another update about his next film. Rajat told that he has also started preparing for Kick 2. According to this, this will be his third project with Salman Khan. Rajat told that he will take the story of Kick 2 forward from where the first part ended. Salman Khan will now be seen in the role of a police officer.
The story will move forward from the previous film
Kick starred Salman Khan as Devi Lal aka Devil, a sort of Desi Robin Hood. The success of the action film has fuelled several rumours of a sequel over the years. In October last year, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala officially announced Kick 2.
Arora sheds light on the development and says, “If any character needs a sequel, it is Devi Lal from Kick. There has been a huge demand for a sequel and if we wanted to capitalise on the popularity of Kick and Salman's stardom, we would have made it long back. But we didn't want to make the film just for the sake of it, we wanted the story to be fresh and perfect. So it took us some time. The scripting is underway and will be completed soon.”
When will the shooting of the film begin?
If reports are to be believed, Kick will go on the floors by August 2. While Rajat hasn't revealed the timeline yet, he did say that director Nadiadwala has ensured that the sequel is as entertaining as the original.
