Ameth Murder Case: In the case of murder of a Dalit teacher and his four family members in Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh, the state government on Sunday provided an amount of five lakh rupees as immediate financial help to the dependents of the family. Along with this, a cheque of Rs 33 lakh was provided along with the allocation of a house, lease of five bighas of land under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme. 

A senior state government official gave this information late Sunday evening. Government school teacher Sunil Kumar (35), his wife Poonam (32) and two daughters Drishti (six) and Suni (one year) were shot dead on Thursday evening in Ahorwa Bhavani area of ​​Amethi district. Sunil Kumar was a resident of Sudamapur village in Rae Bareli district.

State Information Director Shishir Singh said that state government minister and Raebareli district in-charge Rakesh Sachan presented a cheque of Rs 33 lakh to the family of the victim including a house under the Chief Minister's Housing Scheme, an amount of Rs 5 lakh from the Chief Minister's discretionary fund, five bigha land lease allotment. Unchahar MLA Manoj Pandey was also present with Sachan.

A statement issued here said that on the instructions of the state's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the in-charge of Rae Bareli district and the minister of the government, Rakesh Sachan, met the teacher's family in Sudamapur village of Rae Bareli district and also assured them that the government stands with them in this hour of grief. Minister Sachan consoled the victim's family after knowing their condition and assured the family that they will get full justice from the government.

Sachan said that the Chief Minister is constantly monitoring the incident and he has instructed that full care should be taken of the safety of the victim's family. MLA Unchahar Manoj Pandey also consoled the victim's family and said that the Chief Minister has met the victim's family and assured them that they will be provided full justice.

Pandey said that as the MLA of the area, he will fully support the victim's family in getting justice. He said that the government and administration are taking prompt action in this entire case. The accused involved in this incident has been arrested and action will also be taken by the police administration against those who helped him.

On this occasion, District Magistrate Harshita Mathur, Superintendent of Police Dr. Yashveer Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Siddharth, Deputy District Magistrate Siddharth Chaudhary, Social Welfare Officer Srishti Awasthi and other officers were present. According to the police, Chandan Verma, accused of killing four members of a Dalit family, was injured by a bullet in his leg in an encounter with the police in the early hours of Saturday. He was arrested by the police from Gautam Buddha Nagar.
