According to the Panchang, the Amalaki Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month will start on March 20 at 12:21 am and will end on March 21 at 02:22 am. The time of Ekadashi Paran is from 01:07 pm to 03:32 pm on 21st March.
 
Worship method of Amalaki Ekadashi:
Amla has special significance in Amalaki Ekadashi. On this day, Amla is used in every work from worship to food. After waking up in the morning, one should resolve to fast by meditating on Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu should be worshiped on this day. After the puja, the urn containing Navratna should be installed under the Amla tree. The Amla tree should be worshiped with incense, lamps, sandalwood, Roli, flowers, Akshat, etc. and food should be provided to a poor, needy person or Brahmin under it.

 

Importance of fasting on Amalaki Ekadashi:
By observing fast on Amalaki Ekadashi, one gets the same virtue as visiting hundreds of pilgrimages. By observing the Amalaki Ekadashi fast, which gives results equal to all the yagyas, a person attains salvation. Those who do not fast on Amalaki Ekadashi should also offer Amla to Lord Vishnu on this Ekadashi and eat it themselves.
