Amroha News: In the case of 'non-veg biryani' found in the tiffin box of a 7-year-old student in a private school in Amroha, the Allahabad High Court has given a big relief to the student who was expelled from the school. The court has given relief to the Muslim student and his two brothers. In fact, the principal of the private school expelled him in September 2024 after non-veg was found in the tiffin box. Allahabad High Court directed the DM of Amroha. The High Court said, 'Get all three children admitted to any other CBSE affiliated school within two weeks'. The court has sought an affidavit from DM Amroha. The next hearing in the case will be on January 6, 2025.

The court said that if the court order is not complied with, the DM will have to appear at the next hearing. The petition filed by the children expelled from the school and their mother Sabra was heard by the division bench of Justice Siddharth and Justice Subhash Chandra Sharma. Actually, the student was expelled from the Amroha school for bringing non-veg biryani in his tiffin. The allegation was that the school principal had also made objectionable remarks on the student. Later, when the matter escalated, the school also expelled the two other brothers of the student who brought the biryani. This matter was a matter of much discussion in the political circles.

'If admission is not given, DM will have to appear in court'
The mother of the children had recently filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court in which it was said that due to the behavior of the school, the future of her children is getting spoiled and the studies of the children are at a standstill. The High Court has said in its order that the responsibility of getting the children admitted lies with the DM of Amroha. If the DM does not get the children admitted by January 6, then he will have to appear in the High Court himself.
