Sheikh Hasina targeted Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government in Bangladesh, and described him as a person who never loved the people. Sheikh Hasina said- He borrowed small amounts at high interest rates and used that money to live luxuriously abroad.
'Bangladesh has now become a terrorist country'
Sheikh Hasina further said, 'Bangladesh, which was seen as a model of development, has now become a terrorist country. Expressing grief, she said, the way our leaders and workers are being killed cannot be described in words. Awami League people, police, lawyers, journalists and artists are all being targeted.'
'I lost my father, my brother, everyone'
Recalling the horrific killings of his entire family, including his father and Bangladesh's first president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, he said, "I lost my father, mother, brother, everyone in one day. And after that we were not allowed to return to our country. I know the pain of losing your people. Allah keeps protecting me, maybe he wants to do something good through me."
