Agra News Today: There was chaos in the rural areas of Agra late at night when they got information that miscreants were doing recce of the village with a drone. Hearing the rumor of recce by miscreants, the villagers got terrified and came out on the streets with sticks. Due to this rumor, the villagers are seen guarding the village throughout the night.

This situation is not of just one village. After this rumour, panic has spread in many villages. This rumour spread so fast that people of many villages are seen guarding the roads. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police also came into action and informed the villagers about the rumour.

What is the matter?
Actually, the villagers saw something like a drone in the sky. Seeing the object flying in the sky, a rumour spread in the village that miscreants were doing recce through drones. This rumour spread like wildfire. After this rumour, people of many villages became alert and started guarding the village with sticks. 

As this rumour spread, villagers started appearing on the streets with sticks. When this news reached the police, ACP Kheragarh Imran Ahmed went to the area with the police force and started investigating the rumour. 

Police started investigation.
Police investigation led by ACP Imran Ahmed revealed that there was no drone in the sky but there were two Air Force aircraft in the sky, which were exchanging information and were flying at a low altitude. 

When both the Air Force aircraft were passing through this area, the villagers noticed it and assumed it to be a drone. The villagers suspected that the drone was being used for reconnaissance by miscreants.

Then this rumour spread like wildfire in the areas of Cheet, Uthagiri, Bitholi, Kheragarh, Nagla Pahari, Jalalpur, Deoli, Basai Tatpur of Agra, which resulted in the villagers coming out on the streets with sticks to guard the village. 

ACP refuted the rumour.
Amidst the rumour, ACP Imran Ahmed arrived with the police force at night and refuted the rumour among the villagers. ACP Imran Ahmed explained to the villagers that there was no drone in the sky and neither was the village being reconnoitered by miscreants.

According to ACP Imran Ahmed, there were two Air Force aircraft in the sky which were conducting exercises and flying at a low altitude, which the villagers mistook for drones. He assured the villagers of safety and said that you people do not need to worry.

ACP Imran Ahmed appealed to the villagers and said that the police is constantly at your service, you should go to your homes and rest. After his denial and assurance of security, the villagers came out of the rumour and returned to the village.
