New Delhi. Currently, South cinema's veteran actor Kamal Haasan is in the news for his upcoming film Indian 2. The second trailer of this movie was launched yesterday, on this occasion a special event was also organized. In which Kamal spoke openly about  Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan .

He said that Shah Rukh did not charge a single penny as fee for my film Hey Ram which was released 24 years ago. Along with this, Kamal has praised King Khan a lot. 

Kamal said about Shah Rukh Khan 

Kamal Haasan discussed his film Hey Ram at the trailer launch event of Indian 2. This film was released in the year 2000. The special thing was that Kamal not only acted as an actor in this movie but also as a director. Shah Rukh Khan had a very important role in this film. 

Kamal has said- Shah Rukh Khan, besides being a big superstar, is also a very good friend of mine. We don't have star-like behaviour. I still remember that he didn't take a single penny for the movie Hey Ram, which is a sign of his greatness. For the sake of friendship, he did this movie for free and what more could I have asked for. 

Apart from being an actor, he is also a wonderful human being. This is how Kamal Haasan has spoken his heart out about Shah Rukh Khan.

In this movie, Kamal played the role of Saket Ram and Shah Rukh Khan played the role of his friend Amjad Ali Khan. Apart from Shah Rukh, Hey Ram also featured many actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Rani Mukerji, Hema Malini and Om Puri.
