New Delhi. The shares of Adani Group companies continued to rise for the second consecutive day on Thursday and the shares of nine of the top-10 listed companies of the group managed to close with gains. Shares of Adani Energy Solutions registered the highest rise of 5.10 percent on BSE.

Along with this, shares of Adani Total Gas closed with a gain of 3.97 percent, NDTV 3.70 percent, Adani Power 3.17 percent and Adani Wilmar 3.05 percent. Apart from this, ACC rose by 2.56 percent, Adani Enterprises by 2.13 percent, Adani Green Energy by 1.99 percent and Ambuja Cement by 1.77 percent.

After this increase, the combined market capitalization (mcap) of these nine companies has increased to Rs 14.08 lakh crore. During this period, only the shares of Adani Ports closed with a decline of 0.18 percent. Earlier on Wednesday also, the shares of nine companies of Adani Group closed with a gain.

Shares fell due to Lok Sabha results

On Tuesday, the election results did not match the exit polls and the shares of all the companies of the group fell sharply. This resulted in a reduction of Rs 3.64 lakh crore in the combined market capitalization of all the companies.

BHEL shares rose 9 percent

After getting an order of Rs 3,500 crore from Adani Power, the shares of the government company BHEL saw a tremendous rise and closed with a rise of nine percent. During trading on BSE, the company's shares rose 14.57 percent to Rs 292.45 per unit.
