Delhi Metro News: A shocking incident has come to light at Rajendra Nagar Metro Station in the national capital Delhi. The news is that a woman ran on the railway track. Security personnel chased her and rescued her after a lot of effort. Let us tell you that a woman from West Delhi was allegedly trying to commit suicide by running on the metro track in front of a moving train, but due to the alertness of Delhi Metro security personnel, a major accident was averted.
According to Delhi Police, a passenger recorded the incident on his mobile and shared it on social media. In the video shared by the passenger, three security personnel are seen running. A metro train can be seen standing on the tracks in the opposite direction.
September 4th incident
India Today quoted a police officer as saying that security personnel caught the woman running on the tracks and handed her over to the metro police. Police said that the girl was later handed over to her family. Police said that the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Delhi Police, on Wednesday (September 4) at around 1.47 pm, a woman jumped onto the railway tracks after deboarding a metro train at Rajendra Place station, but after running for a few metres on the tracks, she fell down and fell unconscious.
What is the whole matter?
On September 4, as soon as the metro train stopped at PF No. 1 (from Dwarka to Vaishali), a woman started running on the platform in the opposite direction. She got down on the railway track at the end of the platform and after running for a few metres, she collapsed and fainted. According to a Delhi Police spokesperson, CCTV footage from the station also confirmed this version of the incident, in which she can be seen getting off the train alone and running on the platform and then on the tracks.
After investigating the matter, the police found that the woman lives with her parents in Nawada area of west Delhi. An officer said that Priya's father Ramesh, a tailor by profession, told the police that she was undergoing treatment for mental problems. He said, "The woman was discharged from the hospital and safely handed over to her parents on Friday."
