A case has been registered against a policeman who assaulted a handicapped person travelling from Mannargudi in Tamil Nadu to Chennai. Actually, the handicapped person, a resident of Thenkovanur area of ​​Tiruvarur district in Tamil Nadu, was travelling from Mannargudi to Chennai. During this, three people in Koradacheri area asked to open the coach door. After this, when the train reached Tiruvarur railway station, the three people knocked on the coach again, then an elderly person present in the coach opened the door. When the door was opened, one of those three people came straight to the handicapped person and introduced himself as an RPF jawan and asked why he did not open the door. When the handicapped person said that he did not have legs, the policeman insulted this person.

Police investigation has revealed that the person who attacked the handicapped person is Head Constable Palani employed at Needamangalam Police Station. Tiruvarur Railway Police has registered a case against Palani under two sections. Earlier on Friday, a case of stone pelting on the Vande Bharat train came to light. Actually, an unknown person pelted stones on the Vande Bharat train in Solapur.
