A person going to a temple was shot in Moradabad, case registered against 6 people:

A person going to the temple in Kanungoyan of Mughalpura police station area of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh was shot. According to the information received, there was a dispute between two parties in the locality regarding money transaction, from there Abhijeet Bhatnagar was going to the temple with his niece to do Puja, when Sanjay Rastogi of one party came with a pistol in his hand and fired 5 rounds. One bullet in the firing hit Abhijeet. Abhijeet fell on the road after being shot. Police reached the spot after getting information about the firing, registered a case against 6 people and took 3 people into custody for questioning and admitted the injured to the district hospital.

The incident took place in Mohalla Kanungoyan of Mughalpura police station area of Moradabad, where there was a dispute between Pankaj Rastogi and Satish Halwai regarding money transaction in the morning, then Pankaj's brother Sanjay Rastogi also came there and fired 5 rounds with a pistol in his hand. In this firing, Abhijeet Bhatnagar son of Ajit Narayan Bhatnagar got shot in the leg. Police reached the spot after getting the information and detained 3 people and the matter is being investigated.

Injured Abhijeet Bhatnagar told that he was going to the temple with his niece Saajal to worship on Navratri. On the way, Pankaj Rastogi and his brother Sanjay Rastogi were fighting with a nearby confectioner Satish over money. Both sides were slapping each other, after which Sanjay brought his licensed pistol and fired five rounds. In which one bullet hit my right leg. After the firing, there was chaos in the locality. Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident and arrested 3 people and brought us to the district hospital for treatment. Moradabad SP City Kumar Ranvijay Singh said that information about firing was received from Mughalpura police station area.

On enquiring, it was found that there was a dispute between women here earlier, there was a dispute about money transaction. After this, Sanjay Rastogi opened fire in which a person named Abhijeet Bhatnagar got injured. Police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the district hospital. A case has been registered against 6 people and 3 accused have been taken into custody and a pistol has also been recovered. Further legal action is being taken.
