News Topical, Digital Desk : Three Indian citizens who reached Iran have gone missing. All three are said to be from Punjab. They have been identified as Husanpreet Singh (Sangrur), Jaspal Singh (SBS Nagar) and Amritpal Singh (Hoshiarpur). Family members said that all three reached Iran on May 1 and went missing the same day. The family members have alleged that a ransom of Rs 1 crore has been demanded from them.

 

The Indian Embassy talked to the Iranian government 

Regarding this incident, the Indian Embassy issued a statement on Wednesday saying that the Iranian authorities have been informed about this matter. At the same time, the Indian government has demanded that the three citizens be found as soon as possible. The embassy said that they are constantly informing the family members about this matter.

 

The family members have claimed that an agent had promised to send him to Australia. Under this, he reached Tehran on May 1. But he disappeared.
