News Topical, Digital Desk : In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, traffic diversions will be in place for three days in view of idol immersion. This diversion plan has been implemented to maintain proper traffic flow in the metropolitan area, from 4 pm on October 2nd to 4th, during the Durga idol immersion. 

Many roads in the city will be closed during the immersion, and heavy vehicles will be prohibited from entering several locations. To ensure the city's traffic system is not affected, be sure to check the police's diversion plan before leaving home. 

Know- where can you go through?

Heavy vehicles coming to Gorakhpur from Lucknow will be diverted from the Sahajanwa Bypass Zero Point until the end of the Durga idol immersion. These vehicles will proceed to their destination via the Baghagada, Ramnagar, Karjahan, and Jungle Kaudiya four-lanes.

Heavy vehicles coming from Varanasi, Azamgarh, Mau, and Barhalganj towards Gorakhpur will be diverted onto the four-lane road at Baghagada in the Belipar police station area until the immersion. These vehicles will proceed to their destinations via Ramnagar, Karjahan, and Kalesar.

Heavy vehicles coming from Kushinagar will proceed to their destination via the Koni four-lane via Ramnagar Karjaha. Entry into the city will be prohibited. 

Heavy vehicles coming from Deoria will proceed to their destination via the Ramnagar Karjaha four-lane and Baghagada. Entry into the city will be prohibited.

Roadways buses heading towards Lucknow and Varanasi from Gorakhpur Bus Stand will be diverted via Padleganj and Mohaddipur intersections. These vehicles will proceed to their destinations via the Deoria Bypass Road via Ramnagar Karjahan. Four-wheel-drive vehicles will also be diverted if necessary.

Roadways buses coming from Nausad Square towards TP Nagar Square will be diverted. These vehicles will proceed to their destinations via Baghagada, Ramnagar, Karjaha, and Kalesar.

- Roadways bus, oil tanker, gas tanker, milk vehicle and other government vehicles will go towards Farenda Soneli via University Square, Mohaddipur Square, Char Phatak Overbridge, Kauwa Bagh Bypass Road, Asuran Square, Khazanchi Square, Sports College Square, Ramnagar Tiraha, Industrial Area turn, Bargadwa Square.

Heavy vehicles will be prohibited from traveling from Farenda and PPganj toward Gorakhnath Temple. These vehicles will travel from Bargadwa Square, Industrial Area Turn, Ramnagar Square, Sports College Khazanchi Square, Asuran Square, Kauwabag Road, Charfatak Overbridge, Mohaddipur, and then toward Deoria and Kushinagar.

Three-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles will be diverted from Nausad Tiraha to the idol immersion site. These vehicles will proceed from Nausad Tiraha via Baghagada, Ramnagar, and Karjahan to their destinations.

Heavy vehicles will be prohibited from entering the city at night due to the large number of idol immersions taking place from October 2nd to 4th. This diversion will not apply to ambulances and other emergency vehicles.
