An HR manager in China played such a game of hiring and salary embezzlement that even the listeners were shocked. Actually, the HR manager working in a company here did fake hiring of 22 employees and embezzled Rs 18 crore in their name.

took advantage of the loophole
The accused, whose surname is said to be Yang, was an HR manager at a Shanghai-based labor service company. His company provided workers to tech firms. It was his responsibility to manage the payroll of all the employees.
While working for the company, Yang realized that the company has a monopoly on everything from employee placement to salary payments and no one reviews the entire process. He started using this loophole of the company for his own benefit.
Employees with fake names
- First, he fed the data of a fake employee named Sun and then applied for the salary processing. After this, he transferred this salary to his bank account. Later, the company noticed that the salary of the employee named Sun was not being credited.
- When the company asked the accused HR manager, he said that the tech company had delayed paying the salary. In this way, in the next 8 years, he fed the data of 22 fake employees and defrauded the company of about Rs 18 crore.
Investigation into the company revealed
Investigation has revealed that he started doing this fraud in 2014. But his secret was revealed in 2022, when the tech firm noticed that the attendance of an employee named Sun was regular and he was also getting salary on time, but still no one had ever seen him in the company.
When the case was investigated, the whole game came to light. After this, the accused was arrested and sent to jail and his political rights were taken away for 1 year. He was also ordered to return Rs 1.2 crore of the stolen money.
