In Khulna, Bangladesh, a mob attacked a Hindu youth accusing him of blasphemy. According to the Dhaka Tribune report, the news of the youth's death was announced through the loudspeaker of the mosque. However, later the police said that he is alive and is undergoing treatment.
The youth's name is Utsab Mandal. He is a student of a college in Khulna. The mob has accused him of making derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad.
The mob attacked in the presence of police
Some people accused Utsab of making objectionable remarks about the Prophet. After this, at around 8 pm, several students caught him and took him to the police. When the crowd at the police station started becoming uncontrollable, the army also reached there. The crowd attacked Utsab in the presence of the police. The police has informed that Utsab has been kept at a secret place.
