News Topical, Digital Desk : DCP Headquarters Dinesh Tripathi has suspended 12 policemen, including two sub-inspectors from the police lines, for being absent for more than 30 days. Five other police officers were absent for three days less than 30. The DCP has sent notices to all.

DCP Headquarters Dinesh Tripathi said that SI Monu Singh, Rajendra Kumar Tiwari, constables Dushyant, Ankur, Karan, Jitendra, Praveen Kumar, Bhupendra, Ravi, follower Kunwar Pal, Jai Prakash, sweeper Chhotalal posted in the police line had taken leave for two to five days, but did not come to duty for 30 days nor gave any information.

Departmental disciplinary action has been taken against these policemen who were absent without permission and they have been suspended. Several notices were sent to them in the past to ascertain the reason, but no response was received.
