In Pilibhit of Uttar Pradesh, the help of the army had to be taken to provide relief to the flood victims. The army evacuated the villagers trapped in the flood through helicopters.

Due to rain, the Bareilly-Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur railway lines got damaged in many places. Train operations have been stopped on these routes. Flood water has entered people's houses in Bihar. Floods in Uttar Pradesh took a terrible form due to the rise in the rivers. Rapti, Saryu and Sharda rivers are flowing above the danger mark.

Many villages of the district have been submerged due to continuous rainfall in Pilibhit and water released from Uttarakhand's Vanbasa Barrage. Army's help was taken to rescue the people trapped in village Binora of Gajraula taluka. Seven villagers were rescued by an army helicopter from Bareilly. All of them had taken shelter on the roof.
