New Delhi. Different colors of weather were seen in North India on Tuesday. While floods became a problem in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the sun shone in the hill states. In Pilibhit of Uttar Pradesh, the help of the army had to be taken to provide relief to the flood victims. The army evacuated the villagers trapped in the flood through helicopters.

Rivers in spate in UP

Due to rain, the Bareilly-Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur railway lines got damaged in many places. Train operations have been stopped on these routes. Flood water has entered people's houses in Bihar. Floods in Uttar Pradesh took a terrible form due to the rise in the rivers. Rapti, Saryu and Sharda rivers are flowing above the danger mark.

Many villages of the district were submerged in Pilibhit

Many villages of the district have been submerged due to continuous rainfall in Pilibhit and water released from Uttarakhand's Vanbasa Barrage. Army's help was taken to rescue the people trapped in village Binora of Gajraula taluka. Seven villagers were rescued by an army helicopter from Bareilly. All of them had taken shelter on the roof.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi may reach Pilibhit and Lakhimpur Kheri on Wednesday to take stock of the situation. On Tuesday, light to moderate rainfall occurred in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. During this time, 10 people lost their lives in incidents of lightning. On Tuesday, the water level of rivers in Bihar increased in many areas and decreased in many places. Flood water has entered 300 houses in nine villages of Bettiah. Flood water has not been drained out from 150 houses of Yogapatti Diara even on the third day.

The scorching heat in Kashmir has again raised the mercury

About 200 families of Nautan are surrounded by floods. A team of disaster friends has been deployed to take them to a safe place. The water level of the Kamla Balan River is increasing rapidly in Madhubani. Due to the water being released from Valmiki Nagar Barrage, the water level of the Gandak River has increased and flood water has entered half a dozen villages of Motihari. On Tuesday, most places in Himachal witnessed sunshine amidst warnings of rain. The weather department had issued an alert of rain in Kangra, Mandi, Solan, Sirmour, Kullu, and Shimla districts, but there was no rain at any place other than Shimla.
