The public started showering such love on the film that from Friday itself the word of mouth of the audience was very positive for 'Crew'. Now this film, which has finished its first weekend with a bang, seems ready to do wonders at the box office.

'Crew' made a splash in the opening weekend.
Based on positive word of mouth, 'Crew' was surprised at the box office on the first day. While the film was expected to have an opening of Rs 5-6 crores, the film opened with Rs 10.28 crores on Friday.
On Saturday, the collection of 'Crew' again crossed 10 crores and now according to Taran Adarsh, the film has collected 11.45 crores on Sunday. In the first three days i.e. opening weekend, 'Crew' collected Rs 32.60 crores.

This collection of 'Crew' left behind these hits in the first weekend , this is the third top first-weekend collection of Bollywood in 2024. Kareena, Tabu and Kriti's films are behind only 'Fighter' (115 crores) and 'Shaitan' (55 crores). But its first weekend earnings were more than the two biggest Bollywood hits of this year.

Yami Gautam starrer 'Article 370' had earned Rs 25.45 crore in the first weekend. For Shahid Kapoor's 'Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' this figure was 26.52 crores. 'Crew' has left both these films behind in the first-weekend collection.

The female lead will make a record in the list of films.
After COVID-19, female lead films are performing very well. While Adaa Sharma starrer 'The Kerala Story' had grossed more than Rs 300 crore, 'Article 370' was also a big hit. 'Crew' has made a place in the list of top 5 Indian films with the highest gross collection with just 3 days' earnings.

Ajay Devgan's 'Maidan' and Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' are to be released next week. Before these big films, 'Crew' has every chance to leave 'Article 370' behind. This will become the third biggest Indian film with a female lead.
