News Topical, Digital Desk : US President Donald Trump on Monday once again defended the 50% tariff imposed on India. He said that this step had to be taken out of compulsion because trade between the US and India has been one-sided for years.

According to Trump, in the year 2024, India bought goods worth about $41.5 billion from the US, but in comparison, sold goods worth more than $80 billion to the US.

 

'The relationship will have to change'

According to Trump, America has always suffered losses in trade. He said that India has been taking advantage of the American market for a long time. He said in clear words that now the relationship has to change.
