Seoul: Super 30 founder Anand Kumar has been named the honorary ambassador of Korean Tourism in South Korea. Anand Kumar was given a warm welcome in Korea and was sworn in during a ceremony at the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) headquarters in Segye-ro, Wonju-si. KTO Executive Vice President Hakjoo Lee administered the oath to Anand Kumar.
Anand Kumar is very popular in India and Korea
Speaking on the occasion, Lee said that Anand Kumar has done a lot of work for students from underprivileged sections of society. That is why he is very popular in India and Korea. He further said that due to Anand Kumar's good work, he was chosen as the brand ambassador for Korean tourism.
Hakjoo Lee, Executive Vice President of KTO further added that the aim is to use this occasion to enhance interaction among the youth of India and Korea to know each other, understand each other's culture, education and more to become partners in the development and prosperity of both the countries.
The response from the youth was tremendous
Anand Kumar's book Super 30 was discussed in the program held in Korea. This book has been translated into Korean language. A large number of educationists and students gathered in the program. Addressing the people, Anand Kumar said that the response of the youth in the program was tremendous and it made him feel like he was in India.
