
International: Tensions have increased in the Middle East after the attacks by Lebanon. In view of this tension, Israeli PM Netanyahu has declared a 48-hour emergency in the country. Israel is already fighting a war with Hamas in Gaza.
Israel warned its citizens about an impending attack of missiles and drones launched by Hezbollah and declared a 48-hour nationwide state of emergency.
Lebanon-based Hezbollah said it had fired a large number of rockets and drones towards Israel as an "initial response" to the killing of its commander Fuad Shukr last month. The fighters also "targeted a number of Israeli bases, barracks and Iron Dome platforms with a large number of rockets."
