New York: Republican candidate Donald Trump, who is trailing behind Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the US presidential election, is facing not only political but also financial problems. The condition of his company's shares is deteriorating.

Shares of former President Donald Trump's social media company have fallen so much that his once $6 billion stake is now down to about $2 billion.

Trump Media and Technology Group's stock price was about $17.40 per share in early trading on Wednesday, down more than 70 percent from its March high, when Trump's company merged with another company.

Trump is the largest shareholder of this media company. He owns 11.5 crore shares. The decline in the share price has accelerated in the last few weeks. It is believed that this is happening due to the strengthening position of his rival Kamala Harris.
