Wipro has presented its quarterly results. The company's profit has increased by more than 6 percent compared to the third quarter. At the same time, the margin has been 40 basis points above the estimate. At the same time, the company has said that the interim dividend of Rs 6 declared in the board meeting on January 17, 2025 should be considered as the final dividend for the financial year 2024-25. The company has presented its results after the market closed. The stock closed with a gain of more than one percent on Wednesday.

How were the quarterly figures?

According to the data released by the company, consolidated profit has increased from Rs 3,354 crore to Rs 3,570 crore.  the estimate of income was Rs 23,112.5 crore. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, EBIT has increased from Rs 3,899 crore to Rs 3,927 crore. However, the estimate was Rs 3,957.2 crore. EBIT margin has remained unchanged at 17.5 percent compared to the previous quarter. However, the market had given an estimate of 17.1 percent. On the other hand, Wipro's income in dollar terms has been $ 259.6 million.
