In such a situation, it is important to know why young people get heart attacks during workouts and how to protect yourself from it-

The doctor told the reason

Functional medicine specialist and cardiologist Dr. Alok Chopra (MD, MBBS) explained why people under the age of 40 are  at a higher risk of heart diseases  . He recently shared a video about this. Let's know what the doctor says-

This is why heart attacks occur

According to experts, the treadmill is not responsible for heart attacks during workouts, but it is the underlying metabolic disorder that people ignore for many years. He said that heart problems during workouts in people under the age of 40 do not arise from the treadmill, but from metabolic dysfunction.

What is metabolic dysfunction?

Metabolic dysfunction occurs when our body is unable to process food in the way it is designed to. In simple words, metabolic dysfunction is a condition in which the body's metabolism, that is, the process of converting food into energy and production and repair of cells, is not working properly.

This is also the cause of heart attack

The doctor said that many of us know young people who have had a heart attack while working on a treadmill or doing strenuous exercise. However, the real reason for this is not the treadmill or exercise, but something else, which includes the following:

  • Silent Insulin Resistance
  • Chronic Inflammation
  • high stress pressure
  • Decreased sleep and recovery
  • Lack of essential nutrients in the diet
