Expensive kajal available in the market may make the eyes beautiful, but the chemicals hidden behind them can also harm your delicate eyes and then, the price of these branded products also weighs heavily on the pocket!

In such a situation, do you know that you can make completely natural and eye-safe kajal at home without chemicals? Yes! Inspired by grandmother's recipes, this Desi Organic Kajal will not only give your eyes a deep black look, but will also cool and nourish them. The best thing is that it is very easy to make and the ingredients used in it will be found in your kitchen itself. Let's know the step-by-step guide to make organic kajal at home.

Ingredients to make organic kajal

  • kerosene lamp
  • Rui (cotton wick)
  • Pure Desi Ghee or Mustard Oil
  • A clay or metal plate (for turning)
  • A small stand or bowl (to hold the lamp)
  • Aloe vera gel or almond oil (to make the kajal smooth)
  • A small box (to store kajal)

Method to make organic kajal

  • Step 1: First of all, put some Desi Ghee or mustard oil in the lamp and put a cotton wick in it.
  • Step 2: Now place the lamp on a stand or bowl so that it remains stable. Light the diya.
  • Step 3: Place an upside down clay or metal plate at a little height above the lamp so that the smoke rising from the burning wick collects on the plate. Do not keep the plate too close so that the flame does not get extinguished.
  • Step 4: Let the diya burn for 15-20 minutes. Black soot will gradually accumulate on the plate.
  • Step 5: When enough soot has accumulated, extinguish the lamp and cool the plate.
  • Step 6: Now take a spoonful of aloe vera gel or a few drops of almond oil and mix it well on the accumulated soot. Make sure that the paste is not too thick or too thin.
  • Step 7: Your 100% natural, organic kajal is ready! Store it in a clean small container.

Benefits of organic kajal

  • Provides coolness to the eyes
