Dia Mirza had told about this story of cat fight with Kareena Kapoor in an old interview given to Rediff. She had told that in the year 2000, an event was held in Lucknow, in which Kareena, Urmila Matondkar, Namrata Shirodkar and I were the special guests. Dia said,

Dia Mirza, while recalling the time of that event, further said that Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata and the rest of the guests were very angry with this act of Kareena Kapoor . The actress said, "Namrata was very angry that Kareena was not agreeing to the rule of wearing the same clothes with everyone. I explained to Namrata at that time that let's pick up our clothes and leave from here, so that we can solve this matter in private".
Kareena Kapoor Khan suddenly started shouting at Diya
Dia Mirza said, "This small thing took a serious turn when suddenly Kareena Kapoor Khan started shouting at me, her voice became very loud. Kareena shouted and said 'Who are you'? Who are you to give advice to Namrata? I was very shocked to hear her behavior like this, at that time I did not say anything and went away from there".
Recalling this throw-back incident, Dia Mirza further said that half an hour later Kareena was behaving as if nothing had happened. I understood at that time that Kareena is one of those people who do not understand when she becomes wrong and loud. Although, this complaint between the two lasted for some time, but later Dia forgot all the old things and she came as a special guest on Kareena's show.
