News Topical, Digital Desk : Chaturthi Tithi holds special significance in Sanatan Dharma. This day is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. On this auspicious occasion, Lord Ganesha is worshipped with devotion. Also, a Chaturthi fast is observed to achieve success in special tasks. Observing this fast increases the devotee's happiness and good fortune.

It is stated in the Sanatan scriptures that seeing the moon on all dates except the Chaturthi Tithi of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the Bhadrapada month brings desired results. It also removes all kinds of sorrows and troubles. Let us learn the exact date and auspicious time for Ganesh Chaturthi.

When will Vinayak Chaturthi be celebrated?

According to the Vedic calendar, the Chaturthi of the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) of the month of Ashwin begins on September 25th at 7:06 am. In Sanatan Dharma, the Udaya Tithi (day of the bright fortnight) is considered auspicious. However, sighting the moon on the Chaturthi Tithi is also essential. Therefore, the lunar timing of the Chaturthi Tithi is also taken into account. Meanwhile, the Chaturthi of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Ashwin will end on September 26th at 9:33 am. Thus, Vinayaka Chaturthi of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Ashwin will be celebrated on September 25th.
