Greater Noida:  On the complaint of many people getting sick due to contaminated water in Supertech Ecovillage-2 Society located in Greater Noida West, the health department team conducted a camp and conducted an investigation. 339 people were examined in the camp. In which nine people were found suffering from fever and 330 people were found suffering from stomach ache, vomiting and diarrhea.

Builder management fined Rs 10,000

Six people are being treated in the hospital. The health department team has imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the builder management after finding larvae breeding in the water accumulated in the basement of the society. A sample of the water being supplied in the society has been taken and sent for testing.

On Monday late evening, on receiving complaints of more than 50 people falling ill one by one in the four towers of the society, the health department immediately swung into action and set up a health camp in the club house. Private hospitals also set up camps in the society and examined the people.

Camp organized in society 

Let us tell you that on Saturday, the tanks were cleaned in Supertech Ecovillage-2 Society. Late on Monday evening, more than 50 people fell sick one by one in the society. Most of the sick were children. The health department team reached the society late at night. The sick were treated on the basis of symptoms.

A camp was organized in the society on Tuesday. During the checkup, 339 people were found sick. During the camp itself, the team of the malaria department arrived for the checkup. The team of the malaria department found water stagnant in the basement in which larvae were found breeding.

The malaria department imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the management. The health department team has collected samples of water being supplied to the society's flats and sent them for testing. Six people are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Everyone's condition is normal.

The authority's team also reached the society to check the water being supplied by the authority. The quality of the water was checked. No problem was found in the water being supplied by the authority. Samples of water being supplied from the tanks by the management have also been taken for testing.
