Lucknow : Police has taken action in the case of hooliganism and other objectionable activities with pedestrians and vehicles after waterlogging due to rain near the underpass near Taj Hotel in Lucknow. Police has registered a case against the unruly elements and arrested four people so far.

Along with this, on prima facie negligence, the local Deputy Commissioner of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Assistant Deputy Commissioner of Police have been removed with immediate effect. Also, the local Inspector in charge, Outpost in charge and all the policemen present at the Outpost have been suspended.

An FIR has been registered in Gomti Nagar police station. The police have arrested four accused so far. Sections have been increased on the basis of evidence and CCTV footage. At night, Gomtinagar police identified the accused Pawan Yadav and Sunil Kumar on the basis of CCTV footage and arrested them.
