Ghaziabad: The traffic police has removed diversions at all places in the city. Traffic became normal in the afternoon due to the removal of barricades from the places where the roads were closed.
The cuts on the entire Meerut Road from Meerut Tiraha to Kadarabad in Modinagar, a distance of about 30 km, were closed by barricading, they were also removed from most places during the day. The traffic police says that due to the crowd of devotees at the Dudheshwarnath temple on Monday, diversion will be implemented again around the temple from Sunday night.
Barricading will be installed around the temple
On Saturday morning, the traffic police allowed vehicles to move at all places due to the very low number of Kanwadis and increased pressure of vehicles.
Due to this, the movement of heavy vehicles started on the Delhi Meerut Expressway. Vehicles started moving on both lanes on Meerut Road, but most of the cuts were closed by placing barricades. The work of removing barricades also continued during the day. By noon, the cuts were opened by removing barricades from most places.
